dc.description.abstractIn this duoethnography, a narrative framework is used to present the perspectives of members of a cross-institutional collaborative working group of mathematics education researchers. This article provides an example of an organic professional community group that integrates diverse interests and common goals. The analysis identifies characteristics of the working group which can be applied to other collaborative organizations in academia.en_US
