dc.description.abstract**Please note that the full text is embargoed** ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is to develop some numerical methods for solving non-Hamiltonian nonintegrable simplified turbulence equations which conserve the energy. We present two kinds of conservative methods for solving these equations: a second order method which uses simple differences, and an arbitrary high order method based on a modification of conventional polynomial extrapolation.en
