dc.description.abstract**Please note that the full text is embargoed** ABSTRACT: Von Neumann-Morgenstern solutions (stable sets) for cooperative sidepayment games are notoriously difficult to find. This paper provides guidelines on how to find discriminatory vN-M solutions and exhibits some difficulties one may encounter. Easy to use necessary restrictions on the allocations to the discriminated players are derived. Easy to use complete characterisations of discriminatory vN-M solutions for simple games and of discriminatoy vN-M solutions with some additional structure for arbitrary games are provided.en
