dc.description.abstract | In 1973 the Texas Advisory Commission
on Intergovernmental Relations undertook
an extended study of federal general
revenue sharing at the request of the
Texas Legislature. This report, which
is one product of the study, is intended
to provide basic information concerning
the distribution of revenue sharing
funds and the fiscal impact of revenue
sharing on state and local government in
Texas. It is hoped that this analysis
will be helpful to the Texas Legislature
as well as other public officials and
interested citizens who want to learn
more about the effects of federal revenue
sharing. | |
