dc.description.abstractThe Title IIA, IIB, IVC Eligibility Technical Assistance Guide (TAG), A Guide to Determining Participant Eligibility, is designed to assist you in establishing and maintaining an Eligibility Determination Process which facilitates compliance with the Act, Federal Regulations and the Texas Department of Commerce policy. It describes procedures for gathering applicant and participant information for the purpose of eligibility determination, verification and documentation. It should be made clear that if the procedures in the Eligibility TAG are followed, each contractor will have met the minimal requirements as outlined in Section 141(i) of the Job Training Partnership Act and Section 629.35 of the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Rules and Regulations.
