Media Arts Centre. Timothy McCutcheon. Reviewers: Douglas Aldridge and Paul Baca. The scheme interfaces with the Mission Station on the LA Metro Light Rail in South Pasadena to bring life to a community by creating a destination, not just a rail stop. The dynamic swooping form which covers the train platforms, folds into the ground to provide spaces for exhibiting digital light paintings and viewer-interactive video installations. A café also joins the composition. Sections of the roof engage an adjacent park, and other sections contain solar panels. Electronic projections on exterior walls can be viewed from moving trains.	en_US
