Teamwork: An Open Access Practical Guide was developed as a part of UTA’s Quality Enhancement Plan to help students better understand teamwork and how they can contribute effectively to the success of their teams. In doing so, student experiences in the classroom and workplace settings will be more fulfilling, and students will be able to more fully evaluate and understand the team experience and communicate it to future employers. This page includes:
- The Student Teamwork guide – a modular resource for use by any student that includes the benefits and challenges of teamwork, different roles and types of teams, building and evaluating teams, how to market skills for future employment, and testimonials by employers
- An Instructor Companion – a set of suggested discussions and activities as well as case studies from UTA
- PAL Lesson Plan Hub – a curated set of lesson plans and resources created by Peer Academic Leaders from different colleges across campus
