A Behavioral Study of Supply Chain Inventory Management

**Please note that the full text is embargoed until 6/20/2024** ABSTRACT: This dissertation explores issues regarding inventory management in the domain of behavioral operations management by employing a combination of game theory analyses, human subject experiments, economic behavioral modeling, and numerical analyses. This dissertation consists of three chapters. The first chapter highlights the important role of strategic inventory in the multiperiod dual channel supply chain. The second chapter explores the effect of strategic disposal in the multiperiod Newsvendor supply chain. The last chapter further investigates the optimal strategy of strategic disposal and strategic carryover in the multiperiod supply chain with the present of supply disruption risk.
